Kalinda Fisher
Founder, Executive Director
Kalinda Fisher is the founder of Advocate Market Research and Executive Director of The Great Reset. With a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Buffalo and experience in the advertising industry, Kalinda established Advocate Market Research Bureau in Western New York. As Advocate celebrates 25 years, Kalinda reflects on a career that has spanned multiple industries, including partnerships with large banks, healthcare providers, transportation companies, race car teams, and major religious organizations.
In 2007, life brought Kalinda and her family to Nashville, Tennessee, where she has since become a leader in qualitative research. True to her sociological roots, Kalinda is deeply committed to listening and understanding the voices of her clients’ audiences. She describes her mission succinctly: “I began Advocate Market Research Bureau to help businesses and organizations through effective market research. We can gain a truer picture of the consumer by, in essence, becoming the ‘voice’ of their consumer, and ultimately their ‘advocate.’”
Since 2017, Kalinda has also been passionately engaged in The Great Reset, an initiative she launched at her dining room table. True to its name, The Great Reset fosters open, respectful dialogue on pressing current issues. Grounded in humility and respect, the initiative brings people together to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build community through conversation. Kalinda’s background in sociology and market research uniquely equips her to navigate these challenging but essential conversations.
As a hobby, Kalinda takes great pleasure in lovingly nurturing her grandmother’s heirloom roses, which are now over seventy years old, and long walks with the family dog, a Briard, named Olive. Her life’s joy is spending time with her husband, Anthony Cassiol, and two college-aged daughters, Delaney and Sophia, who have proven to be her greatest teachers and support system.
